Surgical Services

Our doctors and technicians provide an individualized anesthetic and pain management plan for each pet. For your pet's safety, our doctors and licensed technicians use an electrocardiograph (ECG/EKG) and other monitoring equipment in addition to their own keen monitoring skills to keep a close eye on vital signs such as heart rate and pulse, respiration, body temperature, blood pressure, etc.

Having your pet go through surgery can be stressful to a pet owner. That is why we care for your dog or cat like they were our own.  Our hospital adheres to the AAHA guidelines for surgical procedures therefore allowing the patient to have the most successful outcome possible. Our pre and post-anesthesia pain management program allows your pet to feel comfortable at all times.

LASER SURGERY

There are three major advantages of laser surgery when compared to traditional stainless steel surgical scalpels, which are decreased pain, reduced bleeding and blood loss and reduced risk of infection. Almost any soft-tissue surgery may be performed with the CO2 laser. Routine procedures such as ovariohysterectomy (spay) or castration (neutering) are commonly done with the laser. The CO2 laser is also used for skin tumor removals.
