A dental exam can find dental disease that not only affects the mouth, but can also lead to more serious health problems such as heart, lung, and kidney disease. Our comprehensive dental program allows your pet to have a thorough dental exam, digital x-rays, cleaning and extractions if needed. Prevention is key in preventing such severe dental-related illnesses, which is why we offer several products and services to help keep your pet's teeth healthy--including specially formulated foods and treats, toothpaste, and toothbrushes.

Unlike humans, pets need to be under general anesthesia for dental x-rays and cleanings. All patients undergoing anesthesia have a physical exam performed and bloodwork assessed prior to being given any anesthetics.  Medications given are tailored to your pet dependent upon their weight, age, past history, and the type of procedure needed.
