Dr. Michelle EngelDr. Engel Graduated from Michigan State University. She completed an externship in the Chicago area at the Midwest Bird and Exotic Animal Clinic and has a special interest in that area of medicine, along with her love of cats and dogs. Dr. Engel opened Columbia Animal Clinic with Dr. Paul Oosting (now retired) in 1991. She has a standard poodle named Brody.

Dr. Laura Baker
Completed her Bachelors and her DVM from Michigan State University in 2003. She has a special interest in feline medicine, cytology, and ultrasonography. When she's not taking care of her patients, Dr. Baker enjoys reading, spending time with her family, and camping. Dr. Baker joined our team in May 2012.

Dianna P., CVPM
Dianna graduated from Lake Superior State University with a B.S. in Biology in 2005. Dianna started her career here that summer, and soon started schooling for Veterinary Practice Management at St. Petersburg College which was completed in 2009. In 2010 Dianna took a certification exam to become a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager. Dianna has 2 young boys and 2 cats. She enjoys hiking and spending time in the Upper Peninsula.

Karen m.Karen is one of our newest additions to team CAC. She joined our team in the summer of 2017 as a receptionist. She comes to us with over 20 years of experience as a veterinary receptionist! Karen enjoys spending time with her 2 children, and 2 grandsons which are the love of her life! They are joys to be with and keep her young at heart. Karen has 2 Shih Tzu's named Kaly and Toto. In her spare time she enjoys living at the lake, reading, and spending time with her dogs.

Carol joined our team in July of 2012, but has been working as a Licensed Veterinary Technician since graduation from The Veterinary Technician Institute in Fort Wayne, IN in 2008. She also has a BS in Anthropology from Ball State University. Carol is the proud mom to a boxer named Tala Leigh. Carol spends her time antiquing, biking, and running.

Chaley H., LVT
Chaley joined our team in January of 2014, but has been working as Licensed Veterinary Technician in the Jackson Area since 2005. She was born and raised in Alaska. Chaley likes to spend her time cooking, reading, and traveling. She shares her home with her husband, a wonderful Great Dane named Sullivan, and three cats Doofenschmirtz, Momo, and Hikaru.

Kinsey L., LVTKinsey joined our team in August 2016, after completing the Veterinary Technology program at Michigan State University. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, drinking coffee, spending time outdoors, and keeping up with her spirited cat McGraw.

Tiffany C.
Tiffany joined our team in 2011, after working at Dr. Engel's boarding facility Creature Comforts Pet Resort. Tiffany is currently pursuing her degree and certification as a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She has 3 dogs, a Shih Tzu named Mya, 2 boxers Roxy and Eva, and a cat named MoJo.

Emily joined our team in 2009 as a Vo-tech student studying Veterinary Assisting. After Emily graduated from high school, she stepped right into a role here as an assistant/receptionist. Emily attended Stautzenberger College in Toledo, completing coursework to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

Mackenzie is a veterinary assistant who joined our team in 2015. She has 2 dogs (a Puggle named Harley, and a Pit bull named Maverick), a Red Eared Slider, a Ball Python, a Chinchilla, a Leopard Gecko, and a Sulcata Tortoise. Mackenzie enjoys spending time at home with her mini-zoo!

Logynn D., Certified Veterinary AssistantLogynn joined our team as a veterinary assistant in June 2016 after completing a Certified Veterinary Assistant Program. She enjoys reading and going to pet stores to look at the exotic animals. She also enjoys spending time at home with her cats Mittens, Salem and Toby, and her bearded dragon named Lizzy.
